Tan Mei Yin is an accomplished educator, qualified accountant, and corporate finance professional with over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and business education. As an adjunct lecturer and trainer, she has a proven track record of coaching learners from diverse backgrounds—ranging from secondary school students to diploma, university, and professional qualification candidates—helping them excel in business, finance, and accounting subjects.
Currently an Associate Lecturer in Business Accounting at PSB Academy, Mei Yin designs and delivers diploma-level courses, prepares learning materials, and assesses student performance. She has been an Adjunct Lecturer with the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) and SSTC Institute since 2011, teaching subjects such as Principles of Accounts, Management of Business, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Accounting for IGCSE, GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels, and diploma examinations. Her teaching experience also includes lecturing at Amity Global Business School and Dimensions International College, where she guided local and international students towards academic success.
Prior to her career in education, Mei Yin held senior finance roles in multinational corporations, including AET Shipmanagement, Hewlett Packard, Moduslink, and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Mei Yin holds a Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University, a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from RMIT University, and a Diploma in Accountancy from Singapore Polytechnic. She is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia) and a certified adult educator with the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). Fluent in English, Mandarin, Teochew, and Hokkien, she brings both technical expertise and cross-cultural communication skills to her training practice.
