Dr Mak Wai Keong is an accomplished educator, researcher, and consultant with over two decades of experience in education technology, eLearning development, and the application of generative AI in pedagogy. He specialises in designing transformative learning experiences that are engaging, adaptive, and impactful, combining a deep understanding of instructional design with a strong commitment to innovation in teaching and learning.

He holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore, awarded in 2000, and a Bachelor of Science with Merit in Chemistry, with a Minor in Mathematics, also from the National University of Singapore, completed in 1994. Over the course of his career, he has attained multiple professional credentials, including certification as an iSpring Suite Specialist and Trainer, recognition as a Certified ScrumMaster®, and advanced training in Generative Prompt Engineering, AI Leadership and Strategy, and Teaching and Learning through leading institutions such as Google, Microsoft, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Michigan. He is also proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Prompt Engineering, enabling him to integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into his work.

Dr Mak has successfully led a wide range of pioneering initiatives, including the InnovSeries at the Institute for Adult Learning, which encompassed InnovBite, InnovLogue, InnovJam, and InnovPlus. His expertise extends across diverse eLearning platforms such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Moodle, as well as blended learning models, accessibility-focused course development, and the integration of emerging technologies into teaching environments.
