Minimum Entry Requirements

Learning Unit 1: Foundations of Age-Friendly Workplace Practices

  • Analyse job redesign procedures to effectively accommodate older employees.
  • Assess age-friendly work practices to enhance the retention and re-employment of older workers.

Learning Unit 2: Government Support and Industry Standards

  • Design a strategy to utilise government support effectively for employing older employees.
  • Develop programs that align with professional standards to drive retention and re-employment of the ageing workforce.
  • Develop proposals to secure government support for employing older employees.

Learning Unit 3: Retirement and Transition Planning

  • Implement guidelines to facilitate the retirement process for employees.
  • Evaluate counselling processes by guiding HR executives in supporting retiring employees.

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Possess minimally a ‘N’ Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5.
  • Use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3.
  • Learners without the prerequisite will be allowed to be accepted in the course if they possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
