Understand Singapore’s legislative requirements and learn to assess workforce needs to create a relevant wellness framework.
Develop and Implement Tailored Wellness Programmes.
Learn to design a range of health programmes and apply communication strategies to inform employees and encourage participation.
Evaluate and Refine Wellness Programmes.
Acquire methods to gather employee feedback, analyse programme outcomes against recognised standards, and use data to report on effectiveness.
Learning Outcomes
Learning Unit 1: Introduction to Health and Wellness Fundamentals
- Analyse the legislative framework governing employee health and wellness and explore best management practices.
- Identify emerging trends and technologies for enhancing healthy lifestyles.
Learning Unit 2: Programme Design and Implementation
- Design employee health and wellness programmes tailored to organisational needs.
- Implement organisational policies to establish effective day-to-day health and wellness practices.
Learning Unit 3: Programme Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate employee health and wellness programme benefits by gathering and analysing feedback.
- Determine appropriate communication strategies to effectively disseminate health and wellness programme information.
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Possess minimally a ‘N’ Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5.
- Use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3.
- For learners without the prerequisite, they will be allowed to be accepted in the course, should they possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.
