Learning Unit 1: Understanding AI Ethics and Governance Principles

  • Examine AI Ethics and Governance principles to pinpoint potential ethical dilemmas in projects, including blockchain and cryptocurrency applications.
  • Establish organisational strategies that foster an ethical AI culture and prevent governance violations in emerging financial technologies.

Learning Unit 2: Monitoring, Mitigating, and Evaluating Ethical Risks

  • Develop actionable plans to address and mitigate risks of ethical breaches in AI and blockchain systems.
  • Oversee AI processes, including blockchain technologies, to confirm compliance with governance standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Assess the implications of non-compliance in AI, blockchain, and cryptocurrency projects and communicate these risks effectively to stakeholders.

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Possess minimally a ‘N’ Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5.
  • Use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3.
  • For learners without the prerequisite, they will be allowed to be accepted in the course, should they possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.
